Life has changed in a a big way right now, and this isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
If we chose to, we can use this extended home-stay to take a look within, decide what’s working in our lives, what isn’t and start to pivot and make major changes for the better. We can do all of this and use this time as a transformational container or we can continue to distract ourselves and do nothing. The choice is really up to each of us to decide.
Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn, and not in a way you are happy about. Regardless of whether it involves your job, relationship, or mental health, it can be an unpleasant reminder that we can’t control everything. Sometimes that means getting stuck in a situation that we don’t want to be in. Like getting stuck in our homes.
One signal that you are ready to make a major change in your life is when you realize there are more things you dislike about what’s going in your life than what you like. Those dislikes can be pesky and frustrating to deal with, but they allow you to pivot. If those less-than-ideal situations hadn’t shown up, you’d likely be happy to stay in your comfort zone rather than up-level your life. With their help, you’re able to clearly see what you don’t want your life to be like, which gives you the chance to take it in a new direction.
Start to take notice. What don’t you like about your life? Your career? Your relationships? Start to make a list of all of the “trash” you’d like to take out and use the next few weeks to get really clear on who you are, why you are here and what you want to create.
